| PAPER SUBMISSION |
| The European Test Symposium ETS started 9 years
ago as a workshop and it is now becoming a Symposium because of its recognized
quality and maturity. It is clear that ETS has now to follow the formal publication
policy of any Symposium. On the one hand, the event has been for many years a meeting place for many industrial and academic researchers, encouraging discussion, information exchange and informal ambience. On the other hand, it is clear that ETS should remain a favorite place for informal cross-fertilization among test researchers and practitioners . Having in mind these two aspects, ETS will be organized in 2 tracks: Formal Track and Informal Track. Contributions to the Formal Track Submissions to the Formal Track should present original work, with a strong focus on novel concepts and methodologies. Full papers only (max 6 A4 pages) can be submitted. Electronic submission in PDF (preferred) or Postscript format is required. Contributions to the Informal Track Four different types of contributions are sought for within the Informal Track: Electronic submission in PDF (preferred) or Postscript format is required. Authors of contributions accepted within the Informal Track are invited to prepare a final Camera Ready which will be included in the ETS Informal Digest. Application Contributions Submissions as Application Contributions should present case studies and reports on industrial and/or academic experiences, practices, and developments. Both full papers (max 6 A4 pages) and extended abstracts (min 2 A4 pages) can be submitted. Emerging Ideas Contributions Submissions as Emerging Ideas should report about ongoing research in industry and academia. The contributions will allow setting up sessions with a workshop style atmosphere, for discussing open problems, first trials and ideas not yet mature for the scientific literature. Both full papers (max 6 A4 pages) and extended abstracts (min 2 A4 pages) can be submitted. Poster Contributions Submissions as Poster should report about ongoing activities in industry and academia particularly suited for informal discussion during one of the Symposium Poster Sessions. The contributions will allow setting up sessions where attendees can discuss with poster presenters in a very informal and friendly atmosphere. Contributions of 2 A4 pages can be submitted. PhD Student Forum Contributions Submissions as PhD student forum contributions should present on-going student research activities. They should be singly authored by the students and describe preliminary results and future directions of on-going research that is expected to continue over the next years. Contributions of 2 A4 pages can be submitted. |
