The first IEEE EUROPEAN TEST WORKSHOP was held in Montpellier/Sète, France, during the second week of June 1996. According to the 90+ participants from academia as well as from industry from all over the world, this event was considered as a great success in its technical aspect, its terrific weather specially ordered by the organizing committee and its gorgeous meals (except naturally for Ben who hates those !!!????## oysters).
