WELCOME TO THE
ETW98
During the last week of May (May 27th-29th 1998) we
host the EUROPEAN TEST WORKSHOP in Sitges, a summer resort town near to
Barcelona.
This Workshop has a long tradition as a forum for test
professionals around the world interested in sharing their research and
development results. The ETW is the only event in Europe focused on test
R&D and has a reputation of high quality which makes it very
attractive for active professionals working in research institutes,
universities and industries of the electronic sector. It has experimented
a steady growth in recent years showing the confidence of the community in
the ETW as a place for discussion, exchange of ideas as well as a good
occasion to initiate or strengthen fruitful personal relationships.
On behalf of the Organizing and Program Committees we would like
to invite you to participate in the ETW98. We are sure that the effort to
attend will be reworded by motivating technical and personal interactions
with your colleagues in a friendly, constructive atmosphere.
We
will have a very interesting Key Note Address, the usual Sessions for Oral
Presentations with ample possibilities to discuss the papers, the Poster
Presentations for a more informal and personalized set-up, Panels and
Fringe Meetings of special interest groups.
A wide range of
technical activities combined with time for informal discussions, a social
event devoted to visit Barcelona, a Reception by the Mayor of Sitges and
the charming atmosphere of the Mediterranean sea is expected to make the
ETW98 an interesting, fruitful and enjoyable event.
