Publication Policy

The IEEE European Test Symposium ETS is a technical symposium that relies on high interactivity and timeliness of its presentations. Its publication policy differs from the policy of some other events in the area.

While high quality research results are reviewed for inclusion in the formal proceeding, the event also invites reports about ongoing work, contributions describing industrial or academic practices.

According to this, ETS seeks for 2 different types of submission:

• submissions to the Formal Track
• submissions to the Informal Track

The papers submitted Formal Track and accepted for oral presentation will be published in the IEEE formal proceedings of the European Test Symposium.

The papers submitted Formal Track and accepted for poster presentation will be included in the Informal Digest distributed to all attendees at the symposium.

The papers submitted Informal Track and accepted either for oral presentation or for poster presentation will be included, at the will of the authors, in the Informal Digest distributed to all attendees at the symposium.

A CD will gather all these papers plus the slides supporting the oral presentations (at the will of the presenter), it will be mailed to all attendees after the symposium.
