ETS-2011 does not organize any pre or post
conference tours, but we may give you some hints.
The Midnight Sun
If you want to see the midnight sun, you need to
visit one of the more northern cities of Norway.
Tromsø
 is a good choice. The sun will rise at 00:57 on 18th
May 2011 and set at 00:25 on 27th July 2011. 1)
World Heritage
333 years of mining activity on the mountain
slopes of Røros
created wealth for the owners and the State, a livelihood for
the workers and a world heritage site
for posterity 155 km south east of Trondheim.
Hurtigruten
The costal liner
covers the distance from Bergen to Kirkenes and back in 11
days. You may enter the boat in Trondheim and go north or south.
