How to get there
From the airport:
Go by any airport-bus to the city centre (NOK
100). Check
this map for walking directions. Do not go by taxi unless you
really need it (expect NOK 800 unless you negotiate something else).
 The easiest way is to go
by Flybussen and leave the bus at Royal Garden Hotel. When you leave the bus,
turn right and walk in the opposite direction. Pass the bridge the bus just
crossed and walk along the river as far as you can get. Follow the narrow way
to the left of the cathedral. Walk on till you arrive at the Pilgrim
Centre.
 If you go by
Værnesekspressen the bus will first pass the university campus before it
crosses the river and you may see the Nidaros Cathedral on your right. Leave
the bus at the first stop immediately after crossing the river, called Prinsen
Cinema Centre. Ask the driver to inform you when you buy your ticket.
On leaving the bus cross the parking lot and
turn right. Do not enter the restaurant or church area as you will be stopped
by a fence and may have an extra tour to get out. Walk down towards the river.
When you enter the pathway on the river bank turn left and walk on until you
come to the Pilgrim Centre.

From the railway station
Check the same
map for walking directions
Leave the station and walk across the closest
bridge. Walk straight forward as far as you get toward the church "Vår
Frues". Turn left and then right and walk to the end. The Pilgrim Centre is
along the path in front of you to the left of the cathedral.
